The EAM Ride for Kids, normally held in February, was cancelled this year due to weather conditions. However, the EAM members and 40 riders registered agreed to contribute their registrations fees to a luncheon and to have the silent auction. A very successful event was held April 7th at the CanAd Inns Polo Park, with $10,000 to go the Children’s Wish Foundation. Representatives from the Foundation were in attendance and gave an informative presentation on the work of the organization and clients who have been sponsored. Over the past several years, EAM members have contributed $50,000 to Children’s Wish Foundation. A big thank you to all of our sponsors who donated some fantastic prizes for the auction.

Also a big thank you to John Nunes, President of Abco Supply and Service Ltd., who has spearheaded the Ride for several years, and with others has helped to make this a premier winter event for EAM members. John has decided to turn the reigns over to Todd Campbell at Strong Electrical and Mechanical Mfg going forward.
