Manitoba Hydro is sharing initial modelling results as part of their Integrated Resource Plan. This plan aims to determine the potential customer needs over the next 20 years. In 2022, customers and interested parties, including ECAM were asked to identify key inputs and scenarios integral to the modelling process. This video provides output details including cost, greenhouse gas emissions and resource portfolios in four different scenarios. Finally, sensitivities were analyzed as part of this plan. The three prioritized sensitivities include dual fuel for heating, restricted gas generation usage and carbon capture required for gas generation.
