- Sign and submit the Release & Waiver of Liability
- Snoman Snopasses are required to ride on the trails in Manitoba
- The necessary insurance on your snowmobile is required
- Follow the rules of the road with respect to drinking and safety
- Use the buddy system
- Carry a cell phone so that you may be reached in case of emergency (using the Polaris app to track riders is strongly encouraged)
- Carry emergency gear and supplies (oil, spare belt, tools, snacks, first aid kit, etc.)
- Have a meeting point/ check-in plan in case someone gets lost in your group
- It is mandatory to wear proper snowmobile attire/gear
