The Great Canadian Electricity Map

EHRC's Great Canadian Electricity Map introduces youth to the ideas and people driving Canada's sustainable energy future. Measuring seven by nine metres, the interactive floor map rolls out across a gymnasium or similarly sized space and is supported by teaching resources for educators and facilitators. The map showcases Canada's vast geography, electricity transmission system, and major generating infrastructure in their true geographic locations. Energy sources highlighted include nuclear, hydro, wind, solar, natural gas, and coal, along with battery storage facilities and lithium mines providing a comprehensive, hands-on look at the electricity sector across the country.
